Saturday, October 20th: Israel in Egypt - G.F. Handel's oratorio tells the story of the Israelites' Exodus from Egypt, in exciting choruses and Handel's masterful word painting.
With orchestra and soloists:
sopranos Nancy Washeim and Catherine Campolin, mezzo-soprano Erin Ronningen, tenor Josh Lovell, and basses Dale Friesen and Gary Relyea.
8:00 p.m., First Metropolitan United Church
 
Sunday, October 28th: B minor Mass - J.S. Bach, in the Chan Centre at UBC, Vancouver, as guests of VancouverVoices. Soloists are Anne Grimm, Sarah Fryer, Benjamin Butterfield and Nathaniel Watson. If you missed our June 9, 2012 performance, here's another chance!  3:00 p.m.
Audience reviews:
TonightÂ’s performance of the Bach in B minor was pure magic!!! The choir was superb and the soloists were sublime.
The choir seemed to sing as one, such precision, and  those high soprano notes were amazing.
I felt chills up and down my spine at the endÂ….Congratulations on a job very well done!

Saturday, June 8th, 2013: Vespers of 1610 - Monteverdi.
Rarely (or perhaps never) performed in its entirety in Victoria, this monumental and exquisite work displays the composer's mastery of Renaissance music plus all the new musical techniques of 1610. Soloists (TBA) and orchestra, featuring lutes, sackbuts and more!
