The Victoria Philharmonic Choir is an auditioned choir featuring the best in local vocal talent. Now in its fourth season with 60 voices the VPC is providing Victoria and Vancouver Island with live performances of choral music of the highest calibre .
VISION
The Victoria Philharmonic Choir
- is dedicated to performing the world’s great choral music,
- is striving to attain the highest standards of choral performance,
- wishes to provide the Greater Victoria region with outstanding choral performances, and
- desires to make these performances available to other communities through travel outside the Greater Victoria region.
Under the baton of the previous Music Director Simon Capet, the VPC has supported the choral needs of Victoria’s musical community, as well as mounting a number of its own independent choral productions each year.
It will continue building repertoire and the highest standards of choral excellence by attracting serious singers willing and eager to develop their vocal talent.
